Jeremy Cooley
Production Executive

It is impossible to talk about the Dallas production industry and not hear the name Jeremy Cooley. Since 2000, Jeremy has been associated with some of the highest profile television productions in the Dallas area. His reputation as a creative, hardworking, and tireless production specialist has made him a staple of the community.

Jeremy Cooley began his career in television right out of high school, landing a job as overnight photographer for a news station in Shreveport, Louisiana. While attending Bossier Parish Community College, he entered and won two state wide, collegiate video contests. In the fall of 95, as a 19 year old student, Jeremy directed the first ever Canadian Football League game played in the state of Louisiana.

After graduating cum laude, Jeremy took a job as camera operator at another news station in Shreveport. Within 3 months of being hired, he was promoted to tape editor for the AM newscast. One month later, he was the AM newscast director.

In the winter of 98, Jeremy was offered a job in Dallas from Primedia Productions. The job was for an entry level studio specialist. He jumped at the opportunity and hasn’t looked back. Since being in Dallas, Jeremy has established himself in the community as one of the top directors and videographers.

As a director, Jeremy Cooley’s credits include ESPN’s Outside the Lines – “The Junction Boys Reunion”, Willie Nelson’s “RFDTV Live! Concert” and National Lampoon’s “Eye for an Eye”, Speed TV’s “Popular Hotrodding”, Fox Sports “Sports on Sunday” and the “Simple Scrapbooks” DVD series. He has also served as technical director for “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Hannity and Colmes”.

As a videographer and editor, Jeremy has shot over 30 Terry Bradshaw’s “Pick of the Week”, commercial campaigns for LifeChange Living, Cedar Hill Seasonings, segments for Spike TV, and countless interviews for the Law Enforcement Television Network and The Health and Sciences Television Network.

In March of 05, Jeremy took on a new role as designer and installer for Hermosa Studios in Rockwall, Texas. After leaving, he was immediately scooped up by the Dallas Cowboys to run hand-held camera at their games. Jeremy ended the NFL season by installing and operating the brand new replay system that the Cowboys use on Sundays.

In December of 2005, Jeremy and Jami Cooley launched “Call for Health”, a daily, half- hour health program. By March, they had recorded over 100 episodes and were ready for show number two, “The Health and Wellness Marketplace”.  In 6 weeks, they produced 72 episodes that air daily on Faith TV and The Healthy Living Channel.

Aside from the shows, JC2 has produced over 20 commercials for clients from Primal Nutrition to Cedar Hill Seasoning.

Jeremy also managed to find time to run hand-held camera for the Dallas Desperados, the Arena Football team of Dallas, Texas.

Over the summer, ABC enlisted Jeremy to run hand-held camera for “NBA Nation” and the NBA Finals. Jeremy also shot high-definition player and coach interviews for ESPN’s Sportcenter during this time.

He recently wrapped up a 3 week stint on the popular television show “Eye for an Eye”.

Jeremy Cooley has won several awards including the Telly, Communicator and the Videographer award.

Jeremy currently resides in Wylie with his wife and 2 children…and 3 dogs.
